We – Karoline, René, Karla and Rudi – started our journey together in September 2021 and moved from Austria to Shkodra. In order to provide our children with pleasant care and to ease their transition into the Albanian language and culture, we decided to open a kindergarten that, on the one hand, freely according to Maria Montessori, focuses on the child as an individual and, on the other hand, makes positive use of the cultural diversity in Shkodra. Movement, creativity, living in and with nature and healthy nutrition have been included in our concept. The ultimate goal is to create a place where the child feels comfortable and where it likes to stay when the parents are at work.
